My cell phone has some pretty cool location services. It will let me search for restaurants near my phone, movie times at theaters near my phone, that kind of thing. One of the niftiest features is “find a friend,” which allows me to get the location of people who have specifically added me to their friend list. It’s not very accurate, there’s a few mile radius at best, but this could have some pretty neat applications. For one, I’d like to have my lj picture posting script query my phone when it gets an email to add the location automatically to my post.
Anyone know how I can programmatically access this info? A site to screen scrape? Something?
